I Had Forgotten To Submit A Claim...

I had forgotten to submit a claim for Rhody's vet appointment from a few months back. Never fear - with Pets Best it was incredibly easy and painless to upload our invoice and make a claim, even months later. They responded promptly and we received reimbursement for over 2/3 of our costs. I am very satisfied we chose Pets Best as our pet health insurance.

Our Dog Was Hit By A Car

Our dog was hit by a car resulting in a broken leg in 2 separate areas. After we took him to the vet and had his surgery, I logged on to PetsBest and took all of the steps needed to process his claim. The whole entire process was very easy. I did not experience not one hang up or dispute. We received our check within a week. I highly recommend Pets Best to anyone that have pets.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
