very impressed by Pets Best coverage

I am writing this to you to share feedback on my experience with Pets Best. I have had coverage with your company for over 5 years & my policy information is below. I personally am a Sales Rep for a carrier in the group health insurance market so I am familiar with our industry. This is the 1st time I have ever filed a claim with your company & I hope not to any claims going forward. I just wanted to share how impressed I am with the claims experience with your company. Your company did an outstanding job of informing me of the status of the claim letting me know when it was received, that review was in progress & when the claim was approved & paid out. GREAT job of communication. Your company paid the time correctly according to the terms of the policy & paid it for timely & I was VERY satisfied with the entire process. Again my hope is to not have any future claims but to express to you the very positive experience I had with your company and how this is how insurance is SUPPOSED to work. Thanks for providing me with a positive experience.

Chichu (White) And Kimchi (Brown)...

Chichu (white) and Kimchi (brown), are mother and daughter, both senior dogs already. Chichu had a corneal ulcer (which got better) last year, went to the vet, got billed, and claims were paid. Easy as 1-2-3. Then a few months ago, Kimchi also had a corneal ulcer (unfortunately, the infected eye couldn't be saved), went to the vet, got billed, and Pets Best paid my claims with no hassle. Just uploaded receipts, very user friendly site, and attentive customer service.

Pets Best is Best for People Too!

For the last eight years we've had Pet's Best for our German Shepherd dog and this company has always been so easy and a pleasure to work with. Every Pet's Best rep shows sincere concern about why we're submitting a claim, they're knowledgeable and always efficient. I've never had any problems with claims and can't say enough good things about the company. Thanks Pet's Best!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
