This was so easy submitted my claim and the same day had a response from and in just a few weeks had the money in my account. The staff is so nice and helpful. So glad I choose to get insurance it has already paid for it self.

I Made The Claim Online And Attac...

I made the claim online and attached the front page of the Vets bill. Apparently I should have scanned the full report and attached the PDF. Since I didn't provide enough information, Pets Best called my Vet and confirmed the claim and the details. This took a very short time and I received confirmation for payment.

I Have Had My Pets Insured By Pet...

I have had my pets insured by Pets Best for many years. I always tell people what a great deal pet insurance is and that they should use Pets Best. I am nearly 80 now and am cutting back on owning pets. That is the only reason that I will be leaving pets best soon.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
