After A Very Scary Incident Of My...

After a very scary incident of my pup ingesting toxic food (toxic for dogs that is) I was in such a panicked state. A quick visit to the vet and she was all better. The ease of submitting the claim through pet's best helped to ease the overall angst of a stressful situation.

My 10 1/2-Year-Old German Shephe...

My 10 1/2-year-old German Shepherd was diagnosed with osteosarcoma on February 15, 2017 I started sending in claims and was getting notifications back in a week that they were being paid out. Having PetsBest has allowed me to help my dog fight the cancer. We amputated his front right leg and did for chemo sessions along with bloodwork and x-rays. As of June 22 he is cancer free.

It'S Always Quick And Easy To Mak...

It's always quick and easy to make a claim. I love that I don't have to do anything else and the payment shows up in my account and I receive a statement showing me how the payment was figured. Thanks!

Company has unreasonable price hikes.

I just received my Insurance renewal cost. Now that two of my Irish Wolfhounds are old enough for it to be impossible to insure else where the Pets Best company has seen fit to raise the premiums nearly 70 %, $1246.00 per year. What a way to thank customers for being loyal for all the previous years. Even the customer service rep agreed the increase was unreasonable, but would do nothing to decrease the amount. The Best!

I've had one Beagle and one Labrador Retriever insured with Pets Best over the past 8 years. They have helped pay the bills through something as severe as cancer to seasonal allergies. They're always there when I need them.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
