Submitting A Claim Is As Easy As ...

Submitting a claim is as easy as taking a picture. Knowing PB will review it and issue payments quickly offers an additional level of satisfaction. Having Pets Best Insurance is the best value for taking care of my pup.

Your Company Is The Absolute Grea...

Your company is the absolute greatest! You always paid claims very quickly without trying to deny coverage on anything! I've used other pet insurance companies before, and Pets Best is 100 times better than the others. When you saw that we had to euthanize our dog, you not only covered that and the cremation, but automatically cancelled my policy and refunded the remainder of the month's premium. That is unbelievable service!

Not sure

I have cancer coverage for my Golden. She had her spleen removed. We did it because there were signs that it would have ruptured. So I was disappointed that we got ahead of what would have been cancer and it seems like they wanted me to wait till my dog had cancer before they would cover this. I thought how lucky we were that we were able to catch this before it killed her. Insurance said oh no you should have waited then we would have covered this. Terrible.

Denied claims based on misdiagnosis

Pets Best continues to deny my claims because of allergies when the eye specialist and current vet (that is not ripping me off) have never said anything about allergies and in fact tell me the allergies have nothing to do with one of my dogs not producing tears! Nobody has ever called me or my vet for clarification even though I've called and said that I'd like to have it reviewed.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
