Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

When I got a new puppy in June 2018, I started researching pet insurance due to the increasingly ever-changing prices of veterinarian care. I chose to go with Pets Best for my puppy and my cat. First of all, this review is regarding my cat. My policy was effective Sept. 11, 2018. The day before on 9-10-18, the day before my policy was effective, i was frantically trying to get my cat in to see a vet as she was extremely sick. Long story short the next day, the day my policy was effective on 9-11-18, i had to make the gut- wrenching decision to put my fur baby down. Needless to say, I was devastated. On 9-12-18 I called Pets Best customer service to cancel my cat's policy and remove her. I spoke with Bryn. She was amazing! When I told her about having to put my fur baby down she was so compassionate and caring , it felt like she went through the experience with me. She expressed her condolences to me in a way that I felt so comforted and that is pure gold to someone who has gone through an experience such as that...especially after having lost two other fur babies within 2 years! She assured me to not worry about anything and that she would take care of everything and would promptly remove my kitty off my newly purchased plan and i would be issued a refund within a few days. It was effortless on my part and the refund was in my bank account withing 48 hours. I was so impressed! A few days later I received a wonderfully sweet condolence card from the customer care department at Pets Best with all of their representatives names signed on the card. Truly, I was touched. I shed a few tears. It meant a great deal to me. Thank you, Pets Best, so much for being so caring and compassionate and for treating me as though I were family. I most definitely recommend this company to anyone who is on the fence in deciding who to go with for their pet insurance needs. You will NOT be disappointed.

They have your back during your time of need!! My Doberman had a spinal injury which required surgery and an MRI totaling $5000+. I had to submit my first ever claim for my Dobie with them on Saturday Nov 3rd and received confirmation they would be taking care of the costs outside of my deductible and co-pay by Nov 7th. So technically it took 2 business days!! Ability to have direct deposit set up means I’ll have my funds available to pay everything off well before it’s due. They give you peace of mind. Highly recommend!!

My Little Cooper had to Unexpectedly be put down and I am still devastated! I don't remember the name of the first lady I cried all over when I called to cancel policy but she's an Angel as was Penny, the last one who helped me through the filing process. They both listened to me and talked with me a long time about my broken heart. I will Never forget their kindness and their obvious love for their pets. I live alone, will be 69 this month, am deaf in one ear due to Menieres Disease and am losing hearing in other ear due to same disease. It's a scary thing and having Cooper was such a comfort and help for me. I want to get another little dog probably after the holidays...no one can Replace Cooper but I desperately need the companionship. When I do, I definitely will get another policy from Pets Best as I know without doubt that y'all ARE the Best. I highly recommend you to anyone that will listen to me! You definitely are a company that CARES and that means Everything to me! May God bless you all!

Unfortunately, I have had a few claims already with one of my dogs. Pets Best has been the shining light in a series of mishaps. They have been awesome and very quick with processing my claims.
