Extremely responsive

Fantastic

As I've emailed before, you guys have been fantastic throughout all the time I had you. And you made this last visit with my bestest puppy easier despite the fact that I lost him. Of/when I ever get another dog, I'll certainly be back and I've recommended you to everyone I know.

Allows for Special Care of Adopted Rescue Dogs

I have been with Pets Best since 2011, when I adopted Cotton, a former puppy mill resident, who had several litters of mini-Schnauzer pups over 5-6 years. Not knowing how her health would progress, I looked into pet insurance. Cotton was diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus. Later, she was diagnosed with disc issues, eventually resulting in paralysis in her hind legs. In 2014, I also adopted another of my fosters, Precious, a 4 1/2 lb. Chi/Peke, & added her to my pet insurance. As with everything else, the cost of pet insurance has risen. There generally is a discount with two or more pets. Precious current monthly insurance is now $90.58, increased from $72 last year, both having a $100 deductible. Buying insurance is always a gamble - “Will I need it?” I am glad that I purchased pet insurance. Great help when a major issue occurs. Found it’s easier paying monthly rather than having to pay thousands at one time when an unexpected emergency occurs.

The very BEST insurance

Pets Best is the very BEST pet insurance!! Fast, fair, honor their insurance policy. Extremely easy filing of claim. Wonderful customer service. I have recommended Pets Best to vets who are asked this question all of the time by owners of pets.

Very easy!!

It was time for Prince annual shots. Once I received the invoice, I submitted it to Pet's Best and within 2 days was reimbursed. Very easy!!!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
