Extremely responsive
Extremely responsive. After finding the right plan for my pets, with help from customer service, I didn't have to worry about having to make a choice about my pet's health based on my finances. While the rates go up quite a bit each year for older cats, their customer service is also there to help figure out how to make sure it's affordable while providing the coverage you need. The staff is very responsive and helpful and the reimbursements are timely. They were also extremely compassionate when I had to cancel a pet's plan due to her death. They are a great resource.

Pets Best is the Best Pet Insurance!
I LOVE Pets Best! They have always provided me with great, efficient, and timely service and fair claims review and reimbursements. I have been with them for several years and for several pets, and they have always processed my claims promptly, kept me well-informed via email, had an easy process for submitting claims, and an informative and easy-to-use website. I feel that their premiums are reasonable, and their coverage is excellent. Telephone communications with their staff (rare, because their computer systems provide me with pretty much everything I need) are always friendly and their staff is professional. I am very impressed with this business, and wish more businesses provided service the way that they do. I highly recommend Pets Best to all pet owners!
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
