PetsBest is the best purchase I've made for my puppy!

Researched a lot of pet insurance companies before I purchased coverage for the first time in March - PetsBest has already helped me twice! Over the past 3 years, I've lost four senior dogs and it was a financial hardship with two of them. When I brought home my new puppy in February, pet insurance was the first and BEST purchase I made.

They take way too long

They take so long with the claim process. I thought it was 1-2 days as they said but it's a lie. It takes almost a month or a month for them to process your claim. The service sucks. I tried to talk to them on the phone and waited an hour... And I contacted them through the online chat and even that took a long time? And I contacted them through email and it took them a week! Hire more people! But hey their wellness plan is a better deal than other companies.

Pets best gave us truly the most peaceful insurance experience ever. We were able to enjoy the puppy more!

Pets best gave us truly the most amazing insurance experience ever, home, auto, health combined ! They have really been keeping up their word in terms of coverage. No hidden mumbo jumbo. I paid, I got covered. Isnt that the best part of any insurance ? My puppy had tummy issues with recurrent diarrhea and it needed multiple vet visits and some. Pets best has been with us throughout the journey. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking only for the best for their pets!!

Very easy to download my vet paper and wait. I was told it would be a little delayed of a wait but it wasn't bad at all! Very happy! Much better then the last pet insurance I had!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
