Awful. Save your money and go elsewhere. Will have long wait times, I had to wait over a month to hear back on my claim.

Truly the best pet insurance
I have an almost four year old french bulldog who has a few health issues, one of which is recurring aspiration pneumonia. This diagnosis has rung me up some serious vet bills but Pets Best Pet Health Insurance has saved my buns with bills. They process claims and reimburse you in a timely manner. You may have to wait a few weeks but I know people who have to wait months for reimbursement and the amount is no where near what Pets Best will reimburse you. I'm a real customer with a real dog who requires a lot financially and she wouldn't be here, and I would be in serious debt, without Pets Best. Thank you Pets Best Pet Health Insurance!

I've only been using Pets Best for a short period of time. I can say I'm impressed with their customer service and phone app. However, I feel the claims timeline could be faster.

It has been taking forever to get a…
It has been taking forever to get a claim finished. You need to hire more agents. It used to take a week now it takes a month. If this continues I will move to another provider.

DO NOT RECOMMEND
Seriously needs to consider evaluating the things their "licensed reps" say to clients. I was told by Brenna today word for word "there is no point in arguing this, if you want to cancel your policy then go ahead" she was extremely unpleasant and rude to me. (Someone who has been in customer service for 7 years and wouldn't dare be that rude to a client) They should really consider adding a survey at the end of the calls to weed out people like Brenna from harming the business. ALSO, the claim times are insanely inconsistent. They claim speed is their priority when this is, in fact, false and should not be advertised. They claim they cannot keep up with the overwhelming amount of new business, which is an excuse. Hire more people or stop false advertising. The people reading these reviews and responding to them have robotic responses and not one single complaint here has been directly addressed with an efficient and productive response. I advise all of you to look at BBB review complaints and search elsewhere for coverage if you value pleasant customer service care and relatively realistic processing time as I have been told three different processing times each one following being longer than the last one for THE SAME EXACT CLAIM.

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
