Pets Best is truly a great insurance…

Pets Best is truly a great insurance company for pets. They covered all of my dogs medical expenses except for the few things that were pre-existing. I would highly recommend anyone with a pet use Pets Best Health Insurance!

Awful company that steals your money

Got this insurance and took our dog to the vet to find out that he has a benign tumor that needed to be removed. After $1,500 spent, find out that they are refusing to cover our bills. This is a scam rip off company. what a waste. GFY

Great Service

This is my first time using a pet insurance company but I found the cost to be reasonable and the service thus far has been excellent.

Not a fan yet, but we'll see how it goes. Gonna give them 6 months.

Most of my claim got denied because I didn't know that I had to wait 14 days after the start of my policy to get all of my coverage. I submitted a policy for $523 and only got back $134. They discredited about $288 claiming that it wasn't covered. Keep in mind I pay about $64 a month and I have Unlimited coverage with at $500 deductible and 90% reimbursement. They only covered $235 of the bill, then they took off another $100 that they said wasn't covered for some shady reason, so I only got back $134. Not a fan at the moment. It's too soon to tell if I'll stick with this insurance; I've only had them for a month. Gonna give them 6 months and if the cons continue to outweigh the pros then I'll just cancel.

Pets Best Insurance helps relieve the financial headache caused by unexpected emergency vet bills.

Having a Pets Best Insurance policy for my Sheltie, Bay Breeze, has definately relieved a lot of the financial headaches that I used to experience when an unexpected medical emergency would arise with my pets. Knowing that I will be reimbursed 90% of the cost of any claim I file for Bay allows me to make choices when it comes to his care based on what is best for him and not on what I can afford to do financially. I no longer worry about how I am going to pay for the unexpected vet visit thanks to my Pets Best policy. No pet owner should be forced to make a decision on their pets care based on what their finances will allow. I highly recommend Pets Best to any pet owner looking for pet insurance. Pets Best rates are reasonable when compared with other companies, their coverage is amazing and the processing time for claims is extremely quick. Knowing that I will never again have to sit at an emergency vet visit stressing about how I will pay for the treatment my pet needs makes Pets Best insurance invaluable to me and my family.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
