It has taken over a month to hear…

It has taken over a month to hear anything from them. Still have not been reimbursed for paying up front at the vets. They were quick to take my payment out when I bought the plan for my dog but yet still haven't seen what good this insurance is. At this this time I'm not sure if we will renew the insurance plan.

First time with them and I already hate it!

I got the insurance for my new puppy and 24 days later I had to bring her to the ER because she was vomiting. I have filled a claim 3 weeks ago with no answer. I try to call and I cannot get in touch with any customer service. Just a horrible experience!

Eases burden during stressful moments

Our dog recently had to have TPLO surgery due to a ruptured ACL. Knowing that I wouldn't have to worry about the money coming out of savings for her was a relief and let me put my efforts to caring for her recovery, not stressing out about money. The claims were so easy to file which made things even better. I am happy I chose Pets Best when we adopted our monster (especially since she's a mess that spends a lot of time visiting the vet!!)

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
