Not good

Have not had a good experience with them since I enrolled. Also, waiting times for CS are ridiculous and have been this way for a very long time.

Appreciative for coverage and communication!

PetsBest has been in our family for about 6 years now. It's the type of thing that of course you wish you never HAVE to use, but in the cases when the coverage is needed, you are given peace of mind. I think that the website experience is streamlined and clear and I think that the communication once a claim is submitted is impressive. I appreciate the coverage and reimbursement levels that my plan has afforded me and I am grateful to know that some of the costs associated with my pet's treatment have been reimbursed to me to help offset some of the expense. They Take Your Money and Do Not Pay Claims

I had initially referred all my friends to PetsBest because it seemed like they really cared and were so affordable. They found every excuse to not pay out any claim when I was too stressed with my dogs injury to deal with the drama of this company. I insured 3 dogs and they took my money and didn’t care at all about the animals. I will review everywhere I can to warn people who care about their animals to never trust this company.

Normally five stars

The only reason I gave four stars was the length of time it took to resolve the claim. Every other claim I have made has been resolved in a timely fashion.

Great communication throughout the claims process!

Pet's Best communicated with me throughout each step of the claims process. Their explanation of benefits was clear and understandable and I received prompt payment! I am super happy with Pet's Best!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
