Do not buy
I got insurance, my cat was sick and went to the vets. I filed a claim and absolutely nothing was covered.
I have since files another claim for the death of my cat and now paying and extra months insurance for her because they take over a month to process claims.
Go find other insurance this is a waste of time and money.

Saved a TON!
Pets Best saved us 2/3 off a huge vet bill when our cat Benny suddenly became very ill. This couldn't have been more helpful during a financially challenging year. Also, I felt more able to have all the tests and procedures Benny needed.

My first Claim
This is my first claim but I think every part of the process was easy enough by having to take a picture of the Vet invoice's with your cell phone and upload then with the app or scan them and upload using the web. The Claim was Processed and paid out just like they explain when you join so 5- stars the only thing you have to know though is make sure you keep proof of payment if not on the invoice summit recept or bank statement Required

Happy New Customer
I submitted my first claim with Pets Best last month. Even though it took a few weeks for them to process the claim, they kept me informed during the process and the claim was paid quickly once it was complete. I was happy with my first experience with Pets Best, and I am glad I purchased their insurance!
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
