They WILL find a reason NOT to pay your claim.

Even though they keep monthly premium low what good can it do if they deny your claims? I pay monthly insurance premium and pay my vet bills. Claim review process takes up to 40 days. Much longer than other pet's insurances I have had. I cancelled this insurance and looking for another one.

Worst Customer Service Ever!!!!

My cat Melo has crystals in his bladder so I decided to get both of my cats insurance. To make a long story short the Vet bill was expensive so Pets Best had a Veterinarian Reimbursement Form so the Vet will get paid directly from my pet insurance. Smh.. Tried it. The insurance made it impossible for me to do it. I've tried calling and e-mailing them no one responded to me on how does the VRF works. Also I had my cat Melo get an x-ray which cost $410. I submitted my claim and got back $119..smh. I will never get my pet insurance because it's useless to me. I feel like I got robbed and was not being helped with.

My second dog health care bill

My second need for reimbursement for a dog's health care. I had reviewed my coverage, but called to confirm anyway. The customer service people are very, very nice folks. I received more my money quickly. Second great experience.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
