Pets Worst

They will deny most everything as pre-existing which I clearly don't agree with and they offer no evidence. Example - my dog was recently treated for a UTI, denied claim stating it was pre-existing. ? Really, his 1st every UTI was pre-existing. Thanks Pets Worst.

love it. My dog was hospitalized for a night and getting my claim in and money deposited was easy and pretty fast. Very happy. I have all of my dogs on this insurance.

Stay away, horrible customer service!

I signed up with Pets Best for a new puppy. I chose the unlimited plan and enrolled via my mobile phone. During the process the name of the plan and the confirmation is misleading. No where was it apparent that the wellness services were not covered. All puppies need several vaccinations and the cost to spay. Upon submission of my claims I was informed my plan did not cover this. I was told I could add it at the anniversary which was 7 months later. The customer service lack compassion and understanding. Typically you chose these policies for the 10-15 years of your pet. I would not recommend this company because of its lack of customer services and lack of care. Stay away!! I will cancel and go with a more customer oriented company. Also 5 calls all with more than 45 minute wait time to speak with anyone.

Quick processing even during the pandemic!

I am a long time customer, since 2009 originally. Prior to the pandemic, claims were paid super quick, in about a week in some cases. At the beginning of the pandemic, it took almost a month for one of my claims. But I am very happy this month (Feb 2021), that my current claim was processed and paid in less than 2 weeks! Right when I needed it most (as my unemployment extension claim has been held up for 2 months). Thank you Pet's Best, for your continued great customer service! I recently referred a friend who is happy to be a customer now too!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
