Took over 3 and a half weeks to get…
Took over 3 and a half weeks to get reimbursed.
When I signed up I was told 5-7 days and now that I have it they tell you claims take longer. They front a lie to get you to sign up then just think it’s acceptable to say oh our processing times are longer thinking that because they say that and say thank you for understanding that it’s acceptable but it’s not acceptable. They will also not cover claims for testing when your dog is sick of it can also be uses as a routine test. My girl needed her leptospirosis values checked because she was having nose bleeds and they refused to cover it because that’s also a routine test even though in this situation it was by a specialist to determine if that was causing her issues.

Scam insurance
My claim for a veterinarian visit of nearly $900 had every line of invoice denied. First they denied for a reason thinking the procedure was for something else. When I notified them this was wrong, they denied again saying it was a pre-existing condition, although the dog had never been diagnosed or treated for the condition.

I have always got the best service…
I have always got the best service possible from Pets Best, not only on the economic part but also on the human one, they are a group of people that not only care about the administrative issues (which are very important), but they also put their heart and passion to the transaction. I am very pleased and have already recommended coupe of friends (an even got a gift card for that!).
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
