I have been trying to take a dog they we no longer have off of my policy since last July and they told me I have to call but no one will answer.

This is a total scam
Pet's Best is a scam. Their BBB ratings are terrible. I canceled my policy and they charged me anyway. Then when I notified them, they refunded me for the portion of the month "they covered." They shouldn't have charged me at all since I had canceled. The reason I canceled is because my dog isn't covered unless I've paid for a $1,400 dental exam and cleaning. That is not clear at all in the policy. Their customer service is unresponsive and incapable of listening and can't solve problems. I have asked them for a full refund but they won't respond.

Didn’t cover barely anything and I had the highest insurance they offered. Covered less than 30% of my vet bill.

Long processing times
I’m happy with the EOB and everything is very clear, but the current processing times are way too long. I have another dog who has insurance through Figo and the last two claims I’ve filed with them have been closed in half a day - one being on the Fourth of July. If PetBest had better turnaround times on claims (even a week would be fine), I wouldn’t have any complaints. The most recent claim I filed took over a month to get processed. Please look at this issue. Thanks!

Excellent, Easy Claims
Highly recommend Pet's Best! They're very transparent with their claims, and keep me posted throughout the claims process. It's super easy to submit claims (I've submitted multiple for my 2 dogs) and have had no issues with payment. I preciously had a different company with a different dog--and they paid very little and made me submit a ridiculous amount of paperwork. I wound up cancelling because it cost more than they paid. NOT the case with Pet's Best!! They've made pet ownership more affordable!! Highly recommend!
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
