Higher monthly premium payments

Higher monthly premium payments. Long waiting periods for receiving reimbursements. Long waiting phone calls for slow answers. Need full reimbursements by 100 percent.

Well I had an issue where one of my claims was holding up my other claims from getting process.

Well I had an issue where the claims I put in was taking all day to process. Come to find out the Emergency Vet I took my dog to was so old school and didn’t give a good description of the step by step details Pets Best needed to fill out my claim. When I finally got the answer I was overwhelmed with laughter. They handled my claim so well I could even get mad. Thank you guys so much for a speedy claim process with the other claims I put in. You the best!!!!!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
