My dog went to the veterinarian for an ear infection and to get some flea medicine. I had to resend the exact info three times. Then they told me to stop resending. They’re the ones who asked for it. I’m still waiting for some kind of refund. I pay my bill every month. They make sure they get their money but don’t seem to act on claims. 😡

Reimbursement

They have good rates, the only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they're reimbursement takes so long to be completed. I normally have to wait about a month and a half for reimbursement.

Great Experience

I am not sure what has happened with the other reviewers but I can say that my experience has not been the same. Pets Best has been amazing. My dog was diagnosed with an auto immune disease around a year ago. We have had extensive lab work, tons of medication, alternative medicine treatments, etc. and every single thing (except for some herbal medications) has been covered. I have made well over 20 claims in the last few months alone and without question I always receive reimbursement. Sure they may take a little while to send the reimbursement out (about 3 weeks is my experience) but I am always confident that I will be getting that money back. On top of that, I have not had a single issue with a claim. I just submit and get reimbursed. I was skeptical to get it at first but I am glad I did because it has saved me a TON of money and let’s me get the best care I can for my pet without the worry of going bankrupt.

Easy to Deal With

Pets best is super easy to submit claims to and also very accepting of their coverage. Thanks to them Tuckers rash infection was covered.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
