None Better

I've had a few companies in the past for Pet insurance but none of them can compare to Pets Best. Their website is very informative and they do a great job with claims reimbursement.

My claim was denied then accepted

I have wellness insurance for all 3 pets. 3-4 months after getting insurance I got the routine shots for my pets. My claim was denied. I resubmitted it and 2/3 was approved. It’s been a hassle and I still don’t know (3weeks later) if my 3rd claim will go through. All 3 claims were put in the same day.

Highly recommend

I discovered Pet's Best pet insurance because of the association with Care Credit. My dog is getting older. After researching the Pet's Best coverage plans, I became a client. I am so grateful because since I started with Pet's Best, my dog has needed to undergo a number of medical imaging procedures and has been prescribed some medications for his heart murmur and liver disease. Those tests are not cheap, but I don't worry because I have excellent coverage with the plan I chose and the claim submission/reimbursement process is hassle-free. If you have any furry family members, do yourself and them a favor and make sure they are covered!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
