Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I had a 600.00 bill and they paid 52.00 because most of the service was not included. It took them over a month to finish with the claim and now its 7 days and I have yet to receive that 52.00 payment. I made the decision to hold back paying my monthly payment and on that 1st. day of being late I received 2 emails and then 3 day's latter I received a certified letter about me being late and what will happen if I did not pay. I felt like I was bullied. I pay 3 years of premiums on time. Im looking to go somewhere else.

I have a general distrust of insurance as the common theme is to try and find reasons to exclude you from your benefits for whatever reason, but PetsBest has proven their worth and value above the rest. I have spent time on call with different associates to help get me a better understanding of my benefits, advice on filing claims, explanations of claims results, and even just general emotional support of dealing with your pets concerns and the financial burden of emergency situations. I have full faith in what they do, that my money is going to a good cause, and that they fulfill their roles as an insurance provider. All that being said, their claims filing process takes WAAAYYY too long. I understand that the state of the pandemic has played a role in this in that they are short staffed, but it took about close to 40 days to get my claim resolved. Luckily I was financially secure at this time to work around it, but it was a very close call of having to rearrange my funds to make sure the reserves I used for my situation were refilled before other bills took place. That's all to say, minus 1 star for the extended wait time, but boy, did they ever do everything they could to help me understand the situation regarding my claims and support me as best they could during this process. 100% will and do recommend this to my friends because PetsBest has effectively earned my trust in a world of insurance distrust.

This last claim was for Raven's yearly check up and shots. As always, dealing with Pet's Best been very easy and ALWAYS exactly as outlined in the policy. No gray areas or having to go back and question the coverage. I recommend MY pet insurance company to all of my friends with pets. Thank you for your consistency and service.

Very cheap insurance that covers basics and extensive care if you need it. Reimbursement without additional questions within 6 weeks. Very satisfied
