Prompt claim review and payment

I appreciated the very prompt claim processing and payment after my dog was ill. I also received excellent customer service in ending the policy premium charges after my dog passed but before the claims had been processed.

Having insurance gives you peace of mind

I debated whether or not to get pet insurance. I paid quite a bit for two purebred Tonkinese cats and felt that I needed to provide the best care for them-so I invested in insurance. After researching companies, Pest Best seem to rise to the top. I am glad I made the investment. Pets Best helped to defray the costs of shots, deworming, spaying and neutering that are part of a new kittens life. In addition, I had some issues with the male becoming sick with a virus that added to the expense of the kittens. I was so glad that I had insurance to help with all of these expenses. The claims process was so easy. I like the way that they keep you posted on the progress of the claim. In addition, they inform you when your reimbursement check will be deposited in your bank account. I highly recommend them.

Price is average,\not the best considering multiple large area restrictions. Service is slow to no existent. You can expect a new years policy before a review.

Easy to file a claim; received reimbursement quickly

We have filed two claims with Pet's Best for our dog's treatment after an accident and an illness. Pet's Best has been great. It's easy to file a claim and we received the payment we expected about a week after filing the claim. I recommend them highly.

Slow Claim Processing

Processing times after you submit a claim are far too long! You should not have to wait nearly 2 months to get a claim worked.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
