Great insurance company

The reimbursement is fairly cut and dry. Easy process. Just put in any notes and there is little issue. It may take more than 30 days but you get your money as long as you have the receipts. Well worth the investment

Senior Care

We have a 15 1/2 year old Labrador Retriever, Angel. We have been with Pets Best her entire life. As she aged, Pets Best continued to provide for her increasing care. The cost does go up over the years, but the peace of mind it buys makes it worth it. We've never had a claim refused. Thank you!

Not a good insurance company

This company is one of the worst insurance companies I have worked. They do not try to help, their goal is to get out of paying claims. When they do pay the are extremely slow! Submitting or updating a claim is difficult, it seems they don’t want you to put in all the information so they can take longer to process. I moved two of my pets to ManyPets, they are great. Unfortunately on pet has preexisting conditions covered by another company so for now I will keep her this company, at least this year

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
