Long claim process
Claim took almost 40 days to be reviewed all for them to reimburse $23 on a $208 claim.

Relief
Relief
I am so happy that I had Pets Best insurance to help me afford my dog Sophie's patellar luxation surgery. She injured her knee while playing with my other dog. This unfortunately was not Sophie's first surgery as she tore her ACLs on both of her back legs when she was younger which unfortunately she was at risk of due to her breed. Pets Best illness/accident insurance has always given the peace of mind for if something like this happened. The only thing I wish was different about the experience is that it did not take almost 2 months to get my reimbursement. I will definitely keep using Pets Best for both of my dogs however

Great First Impression
This was our first claim and it was for well care on our puppy. Takes about a week to get processed, but it was smooth and there was nothing to contest. So far, so good with PetsBest!

I canceled because Tu took to long for…
I canceled because Tu took to long for my claim to be processed. They say thirty days for a claim to be processed yeah right. I put my claim in 11/6/21 and it’s Jan9,2022 and I still don’t have my reimbursement from that claim. That’s ridiculous. Don’t go here if your looking for your money back fast because it won’t happen.

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
