I ALWAYS takes at least a month to get…

I ALWAYS takes at least a month to get an explanation. I ALWAYS get an email stating you need more info when it’s definitely not needed and almost always you find a reason not to pay. Completely feel as though I made the incorrect decision in choosing this company

Simple and easy process

Simple and easy process. I filed my claim, uploaded the receipts from my vet and all the required records for my puppy, and received my check within 3 weeks if submitting the claim. I was able to track my claim process via the app. I like that an email advising time of payment was sent with an explanation of the expected payment amount.

Twenty five days for a claim payout is…

Twenty five days for a claim payout is unacceptable especially after a 100% premium increase. Mine went from $105.44 to $209.19 per month. My premiums are withdrawn from my bank account automatically, there is no 25 day delay. Unfortunately I'm stuck with them due to an atopic condition which requires daily medication. If I were to switch it would be a pre existing condition and not covered.

Every time I submit a claim its always smoothly and I usually get reimburse between 2 weeks or less. The few times I have called I have received great customer service.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
