Nationwide IS the #1 pet insurance for us!
We have had our pups with Nationwide for many years now and they have ALWAYS been there for us during our pet vet needs. Two years ago, our pup had an unfortunate situation in which her back was broken. She needed an emergency hemilaminectomy and extensive back surgery in order to survive. The bill was over $8000 and Nationwide paid immediately. All except my potion which was pennies compared to the total. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I was previously with another company that did not compare. Nationwide is hands down the most efficient, the most responsive, and the most swift in handling claims. Now that you can email claims, its 10 times better!

Great reimbursement! No hassles.
I don't have to think twice about taking my dog to the vet if anything is wrong with him. The reimbursement is easy and timely. I love that preventative health care is included. Many humans don't have this level of coverage!

Nationwide is very quick with payments
Took our dog to the vet for her yearly check up..turns out that she has a low thyroid. Submitted my claim to Nationwide

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Exclusions
