Haven't heads anything back from Nationwide about my pet being approved or denied. Got an email from the Medical Underwriters department saying they needed to gather info from my vet, but haven't heard anything.
The representative was very kind and thorough and the price seemed good it was a good experience and I read good reviews about it on Facebook that's how I found them
🌟🌟.5 would be an accurate rating for Nationwide Pet Insurance. I've been with Nationwide Pet Insurance since they were called Veterinary Pet Insurance or VPI, and that was in 1991. And have continued with them throughout the many, many years, wouldn't this factor be taken into consideration, plus we hardly really submitted much claims. Not to mention Nationwide's Pet Insurance slogan is always that "Nationwide Is On Your Side" but sometimes I wonder! At the time they were about the only Pet Insurance, as I don't think their reimbursements have improved much, but there's been so many more Pet Insurance companies that's been available to us, it's something you'd need to do your research on. My experiences with Nationwide Pet Insurance reimbursements have been almost towards unsatisfactory, but after I send their required paperwork, we'll then see. Also I hardly really submit much claims, as the only matter may be that my best friend and companion, Brandy 2, since November 29, 2025 had her 13th Birthday, and I know she is considered a senior that had increased our monthly rates, but I will need to call them at Nationwide as they're not only a Pet Insurance company, but provides all other kinds of insurances, such as homeowner, auto, etc. I think because they're not just a Pet Insurance, being the reason that their reimbursements have not been satisfactory. I could give the public some of the figures, but it'll take too much time. Gary and Brandy2 in Kaneohe, Hawaii
