After 14 years as a loyal customer
After 14 years as a loyal customer, I’m extremely disappointed with Nationwide Pet Insurance. Premiums have increased year after year with no transparency or itemized explanation of what’s driving the cost.
My current pet has had no prior claim history, aside from routine annual wellness visits, which makes these increases even more difficult to understand and justify.
These ongoing increases feel excessive and leave long-time customers in a difficult position—especially when switching providers is not a realistic option due to a pet’s age or pre-existing conditions.
When I contacted customer service, I was told there was nothing they could do. No solutions, no flexibility, and no accountability.
Loyal customers deserve better communication and fairness. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance.
