Nationwide has really improved how quickly they review claims and send reimbursements.

I have had Nationwide for a year now, and have been happy with the claims process. At the beginning it was a little rough and a little took more time to figure out but since it is very easy to file a claim, have it reviewed and get reimbursements quickly. I have been so far very satisfied and will continue to use/renew my insurance for the next year. No increase to my policy which was really nice also. I haven't had any issues with regards to reimbursement amounts or to why something was not covered.

thanks for reaching out.

Charlie was a healthy 4 months old puppy when we got him but unfortunately had to go through a lot in the last few months. it is heartbreaking to see him suffer at such a young age. I hope at least nationwide doesn't make excuses for covering the expenses and at least ease up our current financial hardship. they already sent me a letter highlighting some exclusions to the plan (calling them pre-existing conditions) which is not the case at all. even Charlie's doctor read the letter and said he can send them a letter stating that Charlie had no pre-existing conditions (except cherry eye which happened during the insurance waiting period) . I am still waiting for the last hospital claim to be processed and I hope nationwide make the payment and doesn't make me to go through the legal actions. I heard that nationwide is a good pet insurance and I am hoping that will be proven to be the case!

insurance review

the insurance in general is good, helpful with routine care and even the occasional mishaps however they do or at least for me when I obtained the insurance neglected to say nothing pregnancy/breeding was covered and that the dog needed to be a certain age for certain procedures. They do cover some of the labs and meds during a breeding but not any sort of complication, guess there are riders which of course you do not find out about till after the fact. I would tell some one who was checking any insurance to read the small print, ask lots of questions and even over insure for the in case time
