Putting my pet first
My dog Sally has had a rough few months. Her age seems to finally be catching up to her a bit as we have had to treat multiple ailments from incontinence to osteoarthritis and a paralyzed larynx. As a result I have been filing a lot more claims than usual but the system for filing claims is pretty easy to navigate. My claims get processed quickly. There was one claim where additional documentation was needed. The notice only provided a PO Box and a fax number for submitting that documentation. I had to call to find out there was an email option to digitally submit. Even better would have been if I could just upload it directly to the site like the other documents. That small inconvenience aside I love nationwide pet insurance. The customer service people always ask how my dog is doing, are super friendly and easy to work with. My experience has been awesome. Not what I expected from an insurance company. Thanks for not making my dog not feeling well any more painful!!!!!!

I love Nationwide Pet Insurance
I love knowing that I have help with the vet bills. I don't have to worry about whether or not I need to take my fur babies to the vet. It gives me great peace of mind to know that I can get them the help they deserve and I can get help with the bills.

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
