Total piece of mind

I really wavered on getting pet insurance. Never had it for any pets previously. Then a few years ago we had a dog that had to have VERY expensive cancer treatments and when we got 2 new puppies we decided it was time to look into it. I shopped all around and chose Nationwide as I found that their plan was the best value by far. I have their "Whole Pet with Wellness" plan for both of my French Bulldogs. Well last week really proved to me I made the right choice. My youngest one suddenly had SEVERE vomiting, lethargy, etc. Rushed him to the vet - after 4 days of multiple x-rays, IVs, fluid, blood tests, etc and possible causes like pancreatitis or a bowel obstruction- my puppy was finally better. (The vets still don't know exactly what caused it. Possibly a toxin? But I watch them like hawks so no idea what they could have gotten). However, my wallet was thousands lighter. As per my plan with Nationwide I had nothing to fear - they covered 90% of all my expenses last week! I could have cried from happiness. It's very easy to submit claims to them (via an app) and I find they review/approve them very quickly. And then you can choose to have the remittance direct deposited to you (or other methods). It's super easy. And any time I've spoken to someone in their customer service department they have always been very helpful and kind. It truly is a piece of mind. The amount you pay for the insurance is 100% worth it. Can't recommend Nationwide enough!

We are a new policyholder that have incurred significant claims due to a serious injury and appreciate you sticking with us.

Nationwide has been very responsive in reviewing and paying claims. We are a brand new policyholder and our puppy sustained a broken leg that has had difficulty in recovering. We have incurred significant claims and really appreciate Nationwide sticking with us to help with the costs.

Not happy - feel like I’ve been bamboozled.

My puppy who received a clean bill of health on initial puppy visit them contracted a condition of thickened bladder wall. Was very costly and after over 2 months Nationwide deemed it a pre-existing condition and paid nothing. Wow.
