So glad I called!!!

I had some questions about a claim and called the customer support line. I was speaking with an actual person in just a few minutes. The representative was very friendly and made sure that all of my questions were answered thoroughly and accurately. She was able to email me all the information needed to process my claim while on the phone with me. She stayed on the phone with me for almost 45 minutes and made sure that I understood and received everything via email before getting off the phone. I am highly satisfied with the customer service, and I will not hesitate to call again!

I’ve been super happy with Nationwide…

I’ve been super happy with Nationwide staff and the quick processing time of claims and refunds. I highly recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance and am so happy to be able to provide such a privilege for my beloved dog. She is safer and better cared!

Thank You Nationwide for standing…

Thank You Nationwide for standing behind your word and your insurance. My precious baby went blind from cataracs caused by diabetes. This all happened very quickly. She has always been healthy up until then. With your help we got the cataracs removed and the diabetes under control. Thank You... I recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance to anyone with a pet.

Had pup that was just over 1 year old…

Had pup that was just over 1 year old had torn ACL - Denied claim as policy hadn't been in effect for the 12 month time. I know NO OTHER type of insurance that denies claim if time period of policy is less than an year. Heaven help if medical, car, house insurance becomes this way. Will not recommend them.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
