Quick and Easy Claim and Refund Process

I got a new pup at the beginning of the year and knew that there would be lots of vet visits for check ups and vaccines so I decided to invest in pet insurance. I am constantly thanking my past-self for that decision. The process to submit a claim is quick and easy. I typically receive a response and reimbursement within a week or two without a ton of back and forth. The best part is the peace of mind to be able to give my dog the best care without having to worry that it'll break the bank.

Thank goodness I have pet insurance!!

Great coverage and so grateful I hand it for my puppy. We’ve gotten our fair use out of this insurance and am so lucky to have it!!!!!

MOST HELPFUL EVER!!!!

I don't know what I'd do without Nationwide Pet Insurance!!! I didn't know Cooper was going to be such a handful when it comes to Vet visits! I'm just grateful that Nationwide is on my side in taking care of this big boy!! Thank you ever so much to a GREAT PET INSURANCE

One of the best things I ever did was get an insurance policy for Tanner.

Nationwide has been great. Claims are paid really fast, and everything is covered according to my plan.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
