Payment arrived so quickly
We left our dog with a sitter for a few days and came home to a very sick baby. After days at the vet’s and thousands of dollars we were so grateful to have Nationwide Pet insurance. The check arrived before the credit card bill came due. What a relief. Now if I had only had it on our kitty before she got injured. We have since bought it.
It’s such an easy process from beginning to claims.

Absolutely Recommend
My pets have been with Nationwide for several years, and the company has done an outstanding job in caring for them. Because I received this pet insurance through my job, I am limited in the amount of coverage I can have, so I am switching to another pet insurer through which I can obtain a higher percentage. This is the only reason I am leaving. Based on my numerous experiences with Nationwide over the years, I absolutely recommend this company.

Coverage
Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage.
The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
