Last winter my dog decided it would be smart to eat a christmas garland. After a week or so of him acting weird, I took him to the vet and the metal part had become entangled in his digestive tract. We were going to have to pony up $3k to have surgery. Without VPI I'm not sure if we could have had the surgery. Reimbursement was super easy, we just had the vet fill out the paper work and we were good. Since then, I've recommended VPI to anyone who will listen, so if you're listening, give them a shot. I'm glad I did!

My little guy Cootey was born with weak stifle's. By two years of age, he blew out his first cranial cruciate ligament and lateral meniscus. The bill for the surgical repair was $ 2500. VPI paid $2400 of the claim. I was amazed. Then believe it or not, four months after the first knee he blew out the other knees cranial cruciate ligament. Total rupture. The bill was $ 2400. VPI paid $ 2300 on the claim. Amazed again. I tell all my friends that my dogs have better health care coverage than I do. VPI is excellent and a great choice for dog owners. I can't thank them enough for taking care of my little Cotey as well as they did. I recommend them to everyone I meet.

We adopted Chickadee about a year ago, and friends with pets encouraged us to get VPI. I am very grateful for that advice, because she ended up needing to have a tooth out, which was really expensive. In addition to covering the annual vaccines and check-up, VPI covered most of the tooth extraction, saving us over $600. The claim process was very quick and convenient to do, and we received the reimbursement within a week.

Great customer service - when my 2year old lab had to have CCL repair- VPI were so reassuring and helpful- no stuck in the loop phone call- a real person who went overboard explains my policy.Very timely re imbursement - all health care should have such customer service!
