Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

My Peanut recently had a bout of aspiration pneumonia, and was complicated by all the smoke from recent fires. I am fortunate that the vets I have chosen have been wonderful. I have been happy with the reimbursement from Nationwide and have found that supplying records along with the itemized receipt and claim form hastens that process. However, my dog is older and has arthritis. Of course I use wellness supplements as well as one RX med, but would hope that some day Nationwide would not have a pre-existing condition clause on their policies

I had VPI for several years with a couple of other dogs that I've had. I decided that Bandit, our Rotti/Dobie mix might also be a good candidate for pet Insurance. When I went to look up VPI, I found that Nationwide Pet Insurance had taken their place. After getting a quote, I decided that Bandit should get pet insurance. I bought one of the best plans, pays 90% on almost everything after 100.00 deductible per year. Boy, I can't say enough good things about turn around time on payments and was surprised after a surgery he had, we paid approx. 200.00 out of 3950.00 I am glad to recommend Nationwide and tell all my friends about it!! The monthly payments vary depending on age of dog, but Believe me, it's well worth it. He's healthy and very happy :) :)

My Frenchie had to have surgery to remove a foreign abject from her stomach and the cost was over 1200$ and we were paid back over $909

My Service Dog needed tooth surgery n while she was anesthetized she was to be spayed and hips radiographed for dysplasia for my mobility issues. She was able to go to my wonderful Veterinarian of my choice thanks to NATIONWIDE and their quick reimbursement. Thank you so much! I feel such support from you. ♥️☺

I always get way less than expected however James was superb. He was patient and knowledgeable.
