Nationwide is awesome
My dog had a growth taken off her nose and Nationwide covered almost her entire bill. I received a check in the mail about two weeks after I filed my claim.

Good coverage, some effort to collect
When signing up for insurance for a new puppy, we decided to include our older dog in spite of the greater expense to insure her. Later in the year, she suffered a scratched cornea that was not healing. It was good to feel confident that insurance would cover most of the several visits required to clear up the problem. Filling out, gathering and faxing forms and receipts, then arranging for a vet records review took some time and effort, but payment eventually came through as provided for by the policy.

Grateful to Have Found You
My dad works for Nationwide which is how I found out about the pet insurance. I have had VPI for awhile and it was constantly frustrating. Your claims process is so simple and straightforward and I always get something back. It's made being a pet owner a senior so much better. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.

Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
