Nationwide has been fantastic to work with. I have used the policy several times now. My pet required some additional medical treatment and they have been great. No problems, quick response. They will email you with updates in the claim process. Highly recommend!

I must say we were a bit hesitant to purchase insurance for our guy, but we are so glad we did, mostly for him but also the peace of mind for us. Trust me it only takes 1 visit to have it all become understandable. Our guy had a soft muscle injury not long ago and we needed to get him well and back to himself, after all was said and done we were happy our boy was going to be fine, but if we didn't hve pet insurance we would have not been so much. Look it relieves the stress and it takes away the chances of making an awful choice. Our dog is a special part of out lives, just like others children, would you not carry insurance on your kid? Trust me one of the best things we have done for our dog and us All the baby shots and wellness care alone pays for your insurance

At the age of 6 months my boxer was diagnosed with pretty severe allergies. Luckily I had gotten him pet insurance through Nationwide when he was 4 months old on a recommendation from my sister. I got him the top tier coverage and it has been the best purchase ever. After meeting my deductible, Nationwide has paid all my claims quickly and fairly. Having to go to an allergy vet isn't cheap but Nationwide has covered everything. I have no problem taking my boxer as often as needed for his allergy issues, or just routine wellness/vaccines at my local vet. Having this coverage gives me peace of mind.

I’ve been a Nationwide/VPI client for 13 years now. Recently I had use my insurance for more than routine visits and minor health issues. I’ve always been very impressed with the benefits; my second frenchie, Gabrielle recently required a surgery to stop her frequent bladder infections. I was reimbursed before her stitches were even out. I do a lot of research before I purchase many things and health insurance for my girls is no different. Nationwide offered me a plan that gave me peace of mind should a surgery ever be needed but also has a wellness rider that I included. I’ve called the vet hotline before, my service was excellent, every interaction I’ve had with this company has been top notch. I would highly recommend this company and regularly do to friends and associates.
