It's been worth it!
I've been with Nationwide (formerly VPI) for almost ten years now, and for the most part I've been very satisfied. When I first signed up with them, there really weren't a lot of insurers for pets out there, and this company was my pick. Now there are many companies to choose from, and the policies themselves have been revamped to the point that there are better policies available, with Nationwide AND other companies, but I'm locked into this policy now because of pre-existing conditions.
All that being said, I am quite satisfied with the help I've received from Nationwide, and it has been worth the money paid. I would recommend Nationwide to a friend, and would recommend they do their homework in exactly the kind of policy they want and need.

Fantastic I Indeed
Great value, excellent customer service & fantastic every time I submit a claim on line. Now have direct deposit into my account. Could not be easier to have an insurance policy for expenses related to wellness care as well as illness, surgery or injuries.

Wellness Plus Plan
Nationwide insurance' s Wellness Plus Plan, is top notch!! Low monthly fee, meet a deductible and then 90% of all bills paid!!! Love it!!!! For a miniature dog who has to go several times for shots because it cant be all done at once, this is the way to go. deductible met fast.

I didn’t even wait one minute today when Amberlee picked up the phone and took the time to completely resolve my issue.
Really impressed today with the customer service provided by Amberlee. She went out of her way to take the time with me to resolve my issue completely. She was pleasant and professional and a pleasure to deal with.

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
