Best insurance
Having pet insurance is very important and Nationwide has been the best! The convenience of submitting claims through email is a timesaver and the claims are processed quickly.

Nationwide is the best.
Nationwide has been great. Claim forms are easy to complete, and their response time is always within 1 to 2 weeks.

Life saving!
I am so thankful we signed up for pet insurance through Nationwide. My dog developed a chronic condition shortly after I adopted him and without the coverage and peace of mind provided by having pet insurance I don't know what we would have done. He also is a naughty scavenger and we never have to feel like we need to gamble with taking him in or not. We know that we can take him in for the care he needs at the vet and have the peace of mind that he'll be ok and we won't break the bank!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Other plans may have age restrictions.
Waiting Period
14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
