Best. Decision. Ever.

I debated whether or not I should get pet insurance since I was getting a purebred puppy. I am so glad I did! From vaccines, parasites, spay, food and skin allergies, and other health issues Nationwide has been with us every step of the way. They are quick to respond and make it easy to submit claims. They come highly recommended in my book!

So far, pretty excellent!

So far very pleased with Nationwide, they have been very responsive when we have questions and filing of claims has been easy and and most costs were covered. No complaints, would recommend; we have found them to be very responsive and helpful when we call.

Nationwide Insurance is outstanding when it comes to insuring my Great Danes

Great Danes are a very large animals and tend to acquirer certain issues within their lives. At any moment their heath can go from perfectly fine to an unexpected emergency. I insured my Danes from the moment they come into my life at 8 weeks old throughout their lives. I am very pleased with this insurance company

I am so glad that I have Nationwide pet insurance. You never know when the unsuspected health problems will happen. It gives you peace of mind that you can take your pet to a vet for care.

the best help during an emergency

My dog got sick out of the blue and Nationwide was really helpful. They provided the best & coverage I could ask for. There follow up was also truly amazing.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
