Insurance gave me options to pursue all options

I will never quit the insurance. I don’t know how I could have dealt with her cancer and then her bilateral Boxer Eye. She was in a cone for 5 months. It was heartbreaking and scary. You guys made it bearable, my stress was decreased by having the security of pet insurance

too many restrictions on pre-existing ailments

I would like a time table with an expiring clause for pre-existing conditions. No dog can continue to thrive without treatment for conditions that they were born with.

Nationowide Insuarance puts my mind at ease knowing that "Nationwide" is in my side if I need them.

The type coverage Nationwide's medical protection is second to none to meet my pets needs, The on line ability to process a claim and automatically deposit to my checking account is effortless. Also, in the event you need to call the Contact Center, the staff are professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Thank goodness I have VPI

Without VPI I would not have been able to get the care Skye needed. I am so grateful for pet insurance. They processed my claims in a swift manner as well. I will always carry pet insurance through VPI. I have not had to use it outside of the wellness checkups and heartgaurd medicine in the three years that I've carried it. It has paid for itself with the treatments my dog has been through this year!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
