The service I have received has been excellent and all employees have been pleasant and very helpful in explaining the questions that I asked. I have recommended this insurance to several people who are in search of pet insurance.

Thanks for a great experience

I want to thank Nationwide for the speedy processing of my Harley's high dollar claim. We were happy to be reimbursed for his resent illness. He is doing so much better! With this claim it answered the question should we really pay for pet insurance? Is it worth it? Definitely! I would highly recommend Nationwide for your pet insurance needs. .

Beyond happy thus far!

Nationwide has been there for us

Since the beginning of our journey with our rescue dog, Nationwide was there We found out early in our relationship with Nationwide our dog had renal disease. She was less than a year so it will be a long haul to keep her well. Nationwide has been excellent in reimbursement of Lady’s medical bills! Never a problem! Thank you Nationwide 👍

You get paid the full amount of your coverage and they don’t hassle you

I’m very thankful that they pay the full amount, that they say they’re going to, they do it quickly, and they don’t give you any problems about it. It’s wonderful to know that my pet will get great health care.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
