Pleasantly surprised

My Great Dane had emergency surgery in the middle of March. Not only was I scared for him, but also the huge medical bills. Will I have trouble getting reimbursed from insurance? My check arrived before my credit card bill, so all is good with my Great Dane, as well as my financials. I would suggest Nationwide to everyone. It’s an outstanding peace of mind.

Amazing insurance for my 4 legged furry friends.

Nationwide provides excellent customer service. Their staff are courteous, timely, and responsive to the medical needs of my pets. Unfortunately I incurred major medical expenses for my golden retriever. Nationwide processed my claims within 10 days. I am so thankful for nationwide. They allow me to make medical decisions without the stress of going into a financial hole.

Very helpful over the phone

This was my first claim and it did take a bit longer as they needed to look over Dash's medical records but they kept me up to date and paid in a timely manner. Very lucky to have this insurance. Dash is feeling better and just celebrated his 12th birthday!

Great Insurance

I am so thankful we took out NationWide when Maggie was a pup. Mini Schnauzers can be prone to different health issues and our Maggie has certainly had her share. The pet insurance has make it possible to afford many visits and great care for our girl. Vet care can be expensive and having insurance has certainly made it easier to get the right tests done and if necessary to make better decisions for her care. Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
