GREAT PET INSURANCE COMPANY

Every interaction I have had w/ Nationwide Pet Ins for the past 15 yrs has been absolutely stellar. The staff hired there are truly caring people who love pets. The claims process has been easy and quick too. I highly recommend this pet insurance company to anyone who has a pet they love and want to keep him/her healthy.

Excellent customer service and fast claims processing

Every Nationwide customer service rep I have spoken to has been extremely friendly and helpful. Turn around time for processing claims and receiving reimbursement is speedy and I have had no problems with coverage transparency. I would highly recommend Nationwide's pet insurance.

Must Have

Pet health insurance is essential. Nationwide covers so much and is is so easy to file a claim. They cover your pet worldwide. The claims are paid in a very timely manner. I highly recommend.

Better Life for Doggy Daddy

This is my 5th dog to be insured thru Nationwide, the first that isn't a boxer, a breed that tends to require extra veterinary care. In all cases, knowing that insurance coverage was in force decisions to treat or not to treat was based on what was best for the dog, not how much I would be willing to spend. Having it has made the quality of life better for both dog and human!

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
