Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

When I submitted my forms I expected to get a response like many other insurers give- lots of excuses for NOT covering certain things. Nationwide alerted me when they received my forms (I sent by mail) and let me know it could take up to 30 days to review, which was VERY nice! No worrying about what was happening. They also alerted me when they were finished reviewing & how much they were going to reimburse me. The reimbursement amount was fantastic, & NO excuses about not covering medical related charges! I've had this insurance for ~4 years & often wondered if it was worth it. This is the first time I've had to use it & was ready to cancel if the reimbursement was minimal or the company made things tough. But this experience has proven that it is worth the money. I feel more secure about any vet bills we may have in the future- I hope the experience is just as good as this one. Thanks Nationwide!

After switching from a different carrier, I am very pleased with Nationwide. The ability to cover The majority of preventative and health maintenance costs - flea/tick, heartworm, gland expression, teeth cleaning - is a major advantage.

Claims are usually complete within a few weeks. I wish medications could be included as well as prescription food.

Would never have predicted I would need insurance, but bought Nationwide on recommendation of my sister. This puppy has had a variety of problems from allergies to incontinence etc etc and has required expensive workups and Nationwide has never questioned payment!
