Nationwide Pet Insurance does a superb job of claims handling and payment. They are responsive and fair. The website is easy to use for filing claims and follow-up. We have been policyholders for more than five years and are very satisfied,

I am extremely grateful my husband's employer offered pet insurance this year. It can be very expensive when caring for a pet. After losing one pet this gives me comfort to try and keep my other animals healthier and hopefully live longer fuller lives

I was highly impressed at the speed that Bailey's claim was settled. I also appreciated the $ amount! My sister has insurance through Pet Smart, and she often has to contest her claims, as well as what they cover. I am so glad I chose Nationwide over other companies. I also like the fact you offer advice on an 800 line if I need it.I rescue dogs and I like the fact if I have a question someone is a phone call away!

I have never had a problem with timely payment from any claim I've made, so far anyway...I really like the fact that once my annual deductible has been paid, I receive a 90% reimbursement for everything I turn in.

We have 3 dogs, and usually they get along well. This time it didn't go so well. Riki was able to pull a bag of tortilla chips off the counter (people food!). His dog brother, Raki, probably told him that was not a good idea, and tried to stop him from eating it. When I found the two of them, they were growling and snarling at each other, and I had a hard time pulling them apart. Raki got injured more (puncture wounds and surface cuts on his ears & mouth), but not requiring stitches. They were too busy fighting and didn't get to eat anything. He did keep Riki from eating the chips!! (yay! he did his job). I was able to get a full reimbursement for his doctor visit, and antibiotics, and the check came quickly Raki has healed well, and the dog brothers act like nothing ever happened. thank you Nationwide!!!
