Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

This was the first time submitting a claim (or 3) and I was very worried at first about it being denied or taking forever and having to fight with it after all the horror stories I've heard regarding pet insurance, but none of this was the case. Claim was easy to send, paid in a timely manner and eob's/claim progress were easy to follow.

I would recommend this insurance to anyone who owns a pet

My Sebastian had to have emergency surgery to remove a gastrointestinal obstruction. I have read how insurance companies can flake out on you when you have to use the purchased policy. I had never dealt with this before however i knew that my baby had to be treated even if i was uncertain of the outcome of reimbursement. Once all visits were completed and final bill was received and paid i sent the claim in for reimbursement. I would say to any owner filing to always send in the medical records from all Dr's as well as itemized billing with paid statements . The way that my Dr. billed was confusing but Nationwide was very patient, they listened and worked through the break down of the bill with me. Nationwide kept their word and was totally on my side and quickly ( Within 30 days) reimbursed according to policy guidelines . I am very happy to have this policy and they have a customer for life, or as long as i can afford it! Hahhahahaha. Thanks a bunch team, you are the best!

I have never had a problem, clear up front pricing. I have spoken to other pet owners who seem to be paying lower than I which has me a little concerned but I cannot complain since my pet has been to the Vet numerous times. I promote pet insurance and this company whenever I am with another pet owner because it has been so great for me financially.
