Received about half the costs of my dog’s surgery costs reimbursed.
Because my dog was diagnosed with cataracts after age seven, we were able to claim the maximum amount that Nationwide provided. Her surgery was double the amount of the reimbursement, but it was definitely better than nothing. I’m glad we have pet insurance.

Great coverage and service!!
I was surprised when I saw that my claim was going to be covered 100%, what a great policy!!! Thank God my dog is ok and no further treatments are needed. Is such a relief having this coverage!!! Great service too and fast reimbursement.

Payment is a bit slow but overall ok----I don't understand why I have to up my payments which are much higher each yr - I have considered switching

Pleasantly Surprised
Claim was submitted by vet's office and within a couple of weeks I received an email with the amount of reimbursement. All that was submitted was statement of procedure and it was that easy. I was very surprised with the amount of reimbursement that I received. I'm so happy I have my dog insured because this is not my first pet and I know how expense vet bills can get.z

Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months).
