Keep up the great service!

Thank you for checking on my kitty Shadow, she is feeling much better. I just wished I would of signed up sooner than I did. the other company I was with wasn't the greatest at all. You are a great company to work with! Keep up the great customer service, I recommend you to all my pet friends.

Easy, fast, reliable coverage

The Nationwide pet insurance program has definitely exceeded my expectations in the first year we have had a policy. I use the VitusVet app for my iPhone to file all of our claims and I don't think it could be any easier. The only suggestion I have is to have an option to get rid of the confirmation step that is required once the claim has been processed and the funds are ready to be disbursed. This doesn't seem necessary after the first successful deposit verifies the account.

Awesome!

I love you guys! My dog has epilepsy so having you as my insurance really helps with the cost for my dog! Always so nice on the phone and I love getting the cute little emails from Nationwide too! I'm glad I made the decision to go with Natiowide!

claims are taking so much longer to pay

I would rate more paws because I am happy with the coverage, however the last couple claims (simple claims, for vaccinations etc) are taking way longer to approve and get notice of payment to be made.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
